What You Will Find At Carlton Mere

Carlton Meres is a beautiful woodland location nestled in the Suffolk countryside of Saxmundham. The holiday park is composed of ancient woodlands with an abundance of wildlife and two very large lakes. It’s easy to forget you are living in a modern-day society when you are here – you will not hear any cars, see any street lamps or even hear many people. You will simply feel that you’ve gone back to another era.

The Lodges

These luxury, platinum lodges are constructed of wood and built to a very high standard. They all have an outside decking, some have a hot tub and they are very large and spacious. The maximum capacity of a lodge is six people. Each plot also has a parking space and some lodges will permit animals to stay. The lodges have a very modern look to them, but they do blend in perfectly with the woodland surroundings they are situated in.

What Else Will You Find On Site

Carlton Mere is a holiday park that is packed with activities to do!

Carlton Meres has 2 large fishing lakes that are well stocked with carp and mixed coarse fish. This is a place for taking your pod and carp rods. From the photos, we have seen the fishing looks at a decent level. I have seen a carp at a reported 24lb that looks like a very nice fish.

The closest tackle shop is Saxmundham angling if you need anything dueting your stay. They are very helpful and have a range of baits and tackle available for carp fishing.

On-site crazy golf course- charges apply.
