  • Lodges have a private hot tub AND sauna for the ultimate relaxing break. 
  • Lodges have WIFI, Sonos speakers, luxury bathrooms and you can order room service to your room. 
  • On-site Fynn Valley golf course, play 18 holes. The golf course goes around the outside of the meadow the lodges are in. 
  • There are only 3 lodges and they all look to be very private from each other. A very nice small park setting.

Top 5 Things To Do In Suffolk!

When you’re not fishing here are our top 5 things to see when visiting Suffolk –

1 – Sutton Hoo, National Trust

Sutton Hoo is a National Trust property that has a very interesting history. It has burial mounds that were one of the great archaeological finds in the UK. You can read bout the finds and see some of the items found there. 

There is a film about Sutton Hoo on Netflix currently called “The Dig”. It is well worth watching before you go or after you’ve been. I have visited Sutton Hoo and found it a facilitating place.

2 – Framlingham Castle

“As we watched the sunset, over the castle on the hill”. An Ed Sheeran song, reportedly written about Framlingham castle, as he grew up in the area. 

The castle walls are great for views and they often have fun activities for children in the school holidays.

If you have the time take one of the free guided tours to learn more about the castle and visit the cafe for some delicious bakes. 

3 – Head To The Beach!

The Suffolk coastline is stunning and you are never too far away from the sea. Whatever the time of year head over to the beach and let the sea breeze blow the cobwebs away! 

Here are some top beaches to check out. 

  • Walberswick – My favourite beach in Suffolk, the village of Walberswick is quaint – visit the anchor pub for a nice meal, sit outside in the large beer garden in the summer. 
  • Dunwich
  • Aldeburgh
  • Southwold

4 – Visit Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park

Visit the farm of TV presenter Jimmy Doherty, who appears on various shows including Friday Night Feast with Jamie Oliver. There is lots to do on-site with lots of animals to see, woodland walks, a butterfly house and more. There are events on all year round, visit jimmysfarm.com to see what’s on. 

There is also have a farm shop and on-site restaurant. 

5 – Take a Long Relaxing Walk – To The Pub
