Lonsdale Park is a 40 acre estate on former clay workings, five minutes from the M6, with Carlisle 15 minutes away and Gretna Green 20. The estate is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and guests mention kingfishers, deer, foxes and owls.

The accommodation is lakeside cottages sleeping four or six, a two bedroom timber lodge for four and caravans sleeping four or six. Three of the cottages were designed for wheelchair users, and pneumatic trolleys help get kit to the pegs.
