What a Stay at Rum Bridge Is Like
Rum Bridge is on Stoke Road, Clare, near Sudbury, in the Suffolk Stour Valley, with woodland trails and native marsh orchids on site.
Stays come in three groups. Woodland retreats include Armadillo, a classic Bedford truck, from £100 a night, and a shepherd's hut from £90. Lakeside glamping pods are Ed's Pod from £90, and Valerie's Pod and Hart's Pod from £100. Premium glamping runs from The Shrub, Stockies and The Nest at £75 to The Quirky Carp at £125 and The Pennington Suite at £150, with a lakeview lodge and The Big Triangle to follow. Guests share flushing toilets, hot showers and a kitchen and washing-up area, and there is a games room with pool and air hockey.
Fishing is open daily from 9am to 7pm, and day and night fishing and overnight fishing stays are offered on the lakes.
