The river is 20 metres away. The cottage has 70 metres of private bank with a slipway, a jetty and private moorings. Guests who have fished it report barbel, zander, bream, chub and roach across a stay, and others describe big carp rolling and pike showing every day; the honest caveat is that at least one group caught every day without a barbel.
The Teme and Avon are 10 to 15 minutes' drive away if you want to try another river.
