Four identical two bedroom lodges face south west over Rook Lake at Pidley, each with an exclusive fishing platform in front and fishing for carp to 30lb, tench, bream and silvers included in the stay. The farm has seven lakes in all, a café and the Tackle & Bates shop.

A strong pick for a peg of your own on a specimen lake. Each of the four lodges has its own platform on Rook Lake, and fishing that peg is included, so you can fish from outside the door without a day ticket. Rook is the specimen water, with carp to 30lb. The rules are strict: no night fishing, no bolt rigs, braid or leadcore, barbless hooks only and boilies on the hook only. The match and canal style lakes add variety if you want a change.
Ask the tackle shop which lakes are open
Lodge fishing covers your own platform on Rook. For the other lakes, staff in Tackle & Bates tell you which are available that day, and day tickets are bought there.

The four lodges are identical and open plan, each sleeping up to four in two twin or double bedrooms, with a kitchen, Smart TV, patio, free wifi and parking. They face south west over Rook Lake. Dogs and children are welcome. There is also a five pitch CL touring site and two grass pitches, Birch and Beech.
Enjoy your own exclusive fishing platform right in front of your lodge.
Rook Lake was built in 2001 as a water storage reservoir and is the specimen lake, with carp to 30lb plus tench, bream and silvers. The other waters include Crow, the newest with 25 pegs and parking behind each, Jay and Jackdaw, built as pole match lakes in 2006, the canal style Raven, Magpie, and Nutcracker, a mixed species lake suited to beginners.
