A serious carp complex with lodges built for sessions, not sightseeing. S&R is a carp-only operation. You book a lodge with its own lake or shared water, all nets, mats and slings are provided, and bait comes from the on-site tackle shop. The Specimen Lake is described as not easy but holds fish to 46lb, with one 50lb+ reported. Our older listing said three lodges and no hot tubs; the fishery now lists more lodges and hot tubs at Jacqui's Pool, The Retreat and Mine's Retreat.

What a Stay at S&R Fisheries Is Like
S&R Fishery is on North Kelsey Road at Caistor, on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds near Market Rasen. It runs several carp lakes, an on-site tackle shop and S&R Catering, with toilets and showers for anglers.
Jacqui's Pool lodge has a king en-suite and a twin room, air conditioning, a patio with gas barbecue, a log burning hot tub and a fenced two acre lake to itself, and is wheelchair friendly; it costs from £1,250 Friday to Monday with fishing for two. On the three acre Retreat Lake, The Retreat has two double bedrooms, a log burning hot tub and a 70ft fenced garden, from £850 Friday to Monday, and Mine's Retreat next door has a double, a twin and an electric hot tub, from £999. The Specimen Lake lodge has a double and two single beds.
