Big catfish and a family pool on one small site. Springwood is under new management from spring 2026, with lodges renovated and lakes restocked in the first three months of the year. Spring Pool is the specimen water, with catfish to 90lb and carp over 30lb; Long and Top Pools suit children and less mobile anglers. It is guests only, with no day tickets. The venue quotes catfish over 80lb on its home page, to 90lb on its pools page, and an older listing said 100lb.

Springwood Fishery is on Rosemary Lane at Flimwell, near Wadhurst, on the Kent and Sussex border. The venue says Bewl Water is within walking distance and Scotney Castle and Bedgebury Pinetum are under five minutes' drive. It came under new management in spring 2026.
There are six places to stay. Lakeview Lodge 1 sleeps up to three, Lodge 2 three or four, and Lodge 3 four or five with two twin bedrooms and a balcony over Long Pool. Lodge 4 sleeps four adults, the Garden Room Lodge two adults, and the rustic Shepherd's Hut two or three. Prices run from £250 for two nights in the hut to £1,500 for a week in Lodge 4.

Fishing is included for guests and the fishery does not sell day tickets. Spring Pool, just under three acres and up to 14ft deep, holds catfish to 90lb and carp over 30lb.
