Hot Tub Cabins on the River Perry With Casual Bank Fishing
Glamping cabin pods for two to four and three bedroom lodges for up to six on 10 acres beside the River Perry at Wykey, near Shrewsbury. Every unit has a private hot tub and fire pit, up to two dogs are welcome, and guests may bring rods to fish the narrow river.

A hot tub cabin break first, with a rod in the boot as a bonus. Riverside Cabins is a glamping and lodge site, not a fishery. Its FAQ says the River Perry is narrow but guests are welcome to bring rods and try their hand at fishing; no species, stock or rules are published. Our older listing placed it at Baschurch and said dogs were not allowed. The site is at Wykey and takes up to two dogs. Book it for the hot tubs and the river, and treat any fish as a bonus.
Good for
- Couples or families wanting a private hot tub by a river
- Bringing up to two dogs
- Casual anglers happy to explore an unmapped river swim
Think twice if
- You want a stocked lake or known fish: no species or stock are published
- You want marked pegs or a fishing guide: there are none
Mix paddling with fishing
The site has SUPs and kayaks for guests to use, so a river day can combine a paddle, a dip in the natural plunge pool and a few hours with a rod from the bank.
