Our take

The most accessible fishing lodges we list, with a proper specimen pool too. Every cabin has ramp access, Cabin 4 has an accessible wet room, and both pools have disabled access and swims, which very few fishing lodges offer. Eccleston Pool is included with the stay and suits beginners; Blurton Pool, with commons and mirrors to 30lb, is u00a310 a day extra. It suits families, groups with a wheelchair user and anglers who want an easy pool and a harder one.

Good for

  • Anglers or guests who use a wheelchair
  • Families with young or new anglers
  • Carp anglers who want a harder specimen pool on site

Think twice if

  • You want night fishing: the pools run dawn to dusk
  • You want a hot tub at the door: the hot tubs sit 20 metres from Cabins 2 and 3, at extra cost

Book Cabin 4 for the wet room

All cabins have ramps, but Cabin 4 is the one with the accessible wet room. If you want a hot tub, it is Cabins 2 and 3.
