Accommodation types: 6 lodges on site that sleep from 2 up to 8 people. These are nice wooden lodges. Some have playrooms and private gardens. This is an excellent place for families to visit.

Fishing: The site is on the banks of the river Camel where at the right time of year you can fish for sea trout and salmon. The bank of the river is private and for guest use only.
There is also a carp fishing lake on site that is spring fed and has carp up to 20 LB.

Info: This is a great place for a fly fishing holiday on the river Camel and would suit a family holiday or a relaxing break with some wild fishing. The river Camel looks beautiful at this stretch in Cornwall. If you fancy a change then the spring-fed lake has carp and coarse fish to go at with float fishing.

Accommodation types: This a pub/hotel and has standard hotel rooms and 1 luxury tree house!
Bedrooms: The luxury tree house has 2 bedrooms. The hotel has a range of rooms from 1 bed to family rooms.
Hot tub: No
Fishing: The hotel is on the banks of the river Taw in Devon. Guests get access to 3 miles of the river. This is split into 4 separate beats and these are rotated so you need to check which section can be fished on any given day. It is a wading river not bank fishing.
The hotel has some equipment you can use and a number of rules so it is worth checking these on the website below before you go. The hotel is famous in the world of flyfishing and you will see the countless anglers who have stayed there and caught on the photos in the reception. It has been there as a hotel since the early 1800s and has been a fishing hotel since the early 1900s.

Northumberland - Redewater Lakeside Lodges With Hot Tubs - Lake & River Fly Fishing
Accommodation types: Luxury lodges set around a trout fishing lake. A tranquil location, great for a relaxing fly-fishing break!
Bedrooms: Lodges sleep up to 6 guests with a mix if doubles and single beds.
Hot tub: Yes, selected lodges
Fishing: The lodges are in a great location on the banks of a lake stocked exclusively with brown trout. This is a dry fly-only lake and you can fish right in front of your lodge from selected lodges. If that wasn’t enough there’s is a stretch of the river Rede just a short walk from the lodges where you can try for migratory salmon and sea trout as well as some wild brownys. From my fishing experience, this looks like an excellent place to visit and is on my list of places I want to visit (An ever-growing list!)

Info: A great place for a holiday. There are not many places that offer lodges, with hot tubs, that sleep 6 and have both lake and river fly fishing on site but this one does it all.

Accommodation types: 2 wooden lodges on a working farm a short walk from a wild trout and salmon fly fishing lake.
Bedrooms: 1, sleeps up to 10
Hot tub: Yes, both lodges have a hot tub
Fishing: The lake is a 5-minute walk from the lodges and has trout and salmon to fish for on the fly. the fishing is described as relatively easy, they are generally on a catch-and-release basis but are open to discussion on taking an odd one for your tea.
On the side of the lake, there is a small hut where you can sit and enjoy the scenery with a drink even if you don’t want to fish.

Info: A great site on a working farm with just 2 lodges. We really like a small lodge site where you can fish the lake privately, or maybe with one other person from the other lodge. This looks like a great place for a fly fishing holiday and is well located in Shropshire.

Yorkshire - Kilnsey Park Cottages - Fly Fishing Lakes
Accommodation types: 3 on-site cottages in a traditional barn style. There are not on the lake bank but are on the site of this great fame fishery. From 2 up to 8 guests.
Fishing: Kilnsey Park offers fly fishing lakes with excellent stock that is reared in their on-site trout farm. You can fly fish for rainbow trout, blue trout, brown trout and golden trout. They also have a family fishing pool on site for beginners to try their luck at fishing.
Another great thing about Kilnsey is they have fly fishing tuition. You can find courses on offer for beginners to help you improve your skills and parent and child courses.

Info: Head to Yorkshire and stay in a quaint stone-built cottage. This is a great base to visit Yorkshire and the surrounding areas whilst doing some fly fishing while you are there.

Accommodation types: The site has one holiday lodge with 2 bedrooms overlooking the lake. There is also a 2-bed holiday cottage which is a converted 18th-century stone building and sites 200 meters from the lake.
Fishing: On-site, there is a 5-acre lake with brown, blue and rainbow trout. The lake is spring fed and has an abundance of natural food. A large number of the tour are reared on-site.

Info: This is a fantastic site perfectly set up for the fly fisher. there is an onside tackle shop for anything you need and a lakeside cafe open Wednesday to Sunday. If you are looking for a relaxing fly fishing holiday then this could be the one for you.
