Top 5 Things To Do In Suffolk!

Here are our top 5 things to see when visiting Suffolk –

1 – Sutton Hoo, National Trust

Sutton Hoo is a National Trust property that has a very interesting history. It has burial mounds that were one of the great archaeological finds in the UK. You can read bout the finds and see some of the items found there.

There is a film about Sutton Hoo on Netflix currently called “The Dig”. It is well worth watching before you go or after you’ve been. I have visited Sutton Hoo and found it a facilitating place.

2 – Framlingham Castle

“As we watched the sunset, over the castle on the hill”. An Ed Sheeran song, reportedly written about Framlingham castle, as he grew up in the area.

The castle walls are great for views and they often have fun activities for children in the school holidays.
