What You Will Find At Chichester Lodges
Family friendly fun, with lots of activities on site
Chichester is a large holiday park with what they describe as “luxury” lodges. The lodges are modern and well presented and some are around the edge of the lake. Based on trip advisor reviews we would not class this as a luxury level of accomodation, although it is nice.
They range from 1 to 3 bedroom lodges and selected lodges allow you to bring your dogs with you. This is usually chargeable but they do occasionally do “pets go free” offers at certain times of the year.
On the site, you will be spoilt for a choice of things to do. If you like fishing there are 10 separate fishing lakes to go at (charges apply) These vary from large waters for specialist anglers through to smaller coarse lakes for anyone to have a go. This is a great place to give your children a try at fishing.
Two of the site’s lakes are reserved for water sports where you will find a choice of things to do. You can go out on boats or hire paddleboards, and life jackets of course.
The bar and restaurant have a full entertainment program in the summer. There is always a lot going on! If you want to get rid of the kids for some peace and quiet there is the crazy club for kids.
Al around this is a great park for a family holiday during school holidays and a quieter park for a break during term times. This is a larger holiday park so if you are looking for a more intimate park then check out our lodges with hot tubs guide here.
What Else Will You Find On Site
The park has a number of lakes from a massive 50+ acre lake to a small 1.5-acre match lake. The website states there are carp to 57 lb and pike to 36lb. The fishing looks good based on recent reviews. If you are looking for a lodge with a private peg be sure to check out the resort mao and book a specific lodge. Alternately you can fish any of the 10 lakes on-site for a fee. It is more expensive to fish the specimen lakes with the larger fish as you would expect.
The nearest golf course is the Chichester golf course, which is just a 10-minute drive away. This has two 18-hole Championship courses and a smaller 9-hole course.
They also have 18-hole adventure golf (crazy golf) course. This looks great fun a worth a trip even if you are not a golfer!
The is an onsite restaurant and bar that are open all day.
